OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Receives Android 14 (OxygenOS 14) update

OnePlus expands the access to its newest skin – OxygenOS 14 to one more mid-ranger smartphone, dubbed, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. OxygenOS 14 is the OnePlus’ take on Android 14 and the update is already available for many OnePlus phones. Today, the company has pushed the stable update to last year’s affordable Nord series phone, read on to know more about OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Android 14 update.

As always, OnePlus has officially shared the rollout details on its community forum and as per the details, the update will first be available to closed and open beta testers in India. It everything goes fine, the update will be pushed to non-testers. The official version of OxygenOS 14 is rolling out with CPH2381_14.0.0.200(EX01) software version. Make sure that your phone is running on any of these build numbers – CPH2381_11.C.28 / 31 / 32 / 33.

OxygenOS 14 based Android 14 is a major software upgrade for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, which also means that it needs a big chunk of data for downloading and installation, make sure your phone has at least 5GB of free space.

Moving to the features, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Android 14 update comes with an upgraded Trinity Engine for a performance boost, new Smart Charging system, new privacy features including an additional layer of security when granting access to photos and videos for any app, Smart Touch feature which allows you selecting text, images, or videos and paste to the clipboard, new Snapchat widget for lock screen, and more.

If you own the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite then you can finally upgrade your phone to Android 14. It is currently in a rolling phase and will be available to everyone soon. You can also check the updates manually by navigating to Settings > System Updates.

Keep in mind that your phone is running on the newest software version, also take a backup of important data and charge your phone at least 50%.
