OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G starts receiving stable Android 13 Update

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite was among the devices that haven’t received the Android 13 update until now. Stable OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13 is now rolling out to OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. There is a caveat that it is being made available to beta users first. Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Android 13 update.

Nord CE 2 Lite is a budget 5G phone that was released earlier this year with Android 12 based ColorOS 12. And last month, OnePlus released the ColorOS 13 open beta for Nord CE 2 Lite 5G users for testing. Finally, after a month, the official Android 13 is available for the device as its first major update.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G users are reportedly getting the Android 13 update with build number CPH2381_11_C.25. According to different discussion threads on the official OnePlus community forum, the update is already available to many users. The update is currently rolling out to users who have opted into the open beta and the same update will be available to everyone very soon.

Stable Android 13 Update for OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite

Since Android 13 based ColorOS 13 is a major update for OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, it weighs around 4GB. It brings a lot of new features and you can also expect an upgrade in Android security patches.

Talking about new features, the ColorOS 13 brings the new Aquamorphic design, improved animations, large folders to home screen, improved Always on Display, bigger widgets, improved connectivity, more Bitmoji animations for AOD, per app language, enhanced privacy and security, and more. You will receive an OTA update notification once the update is available. And if the notification is not working, you can manually check for updates in the settings. Or you can use Oxygen Updater app to download OxygenOS 13 file to install it manually.
