OnePlus has released the first OTA update for the OnePlus Nord CE 2. The phone was announced in February and now it is getting its first incremental upgrade, in the form of the OxygenOS A.11 version. The new build is rolling with the March security patch. Just a few days ago, OnePlus kicked off the security-based update for the vanilla Nord, Nord N200, and Nord N10 5G. OnePlus is sowing the new build on Nord CE 2 with the IV2201_11_A.11 firmware version. As it is a small upgrade, it measures only 260MB in size, you can quickly update your smartphone through WiFi or mobile data. The new software is already available to some users, a wider rollout should follow in the coming days or so. If you’re a Nord CE 2 user, then you can head over to the Software updates to check the new updates.
Moving to the features and changes, then the new software is seeding with the March 2022 monthly security patch, better camera experience, and more stability across the system. Although, there’s no information on bugs fixes in the changelog, but as it is one of the first software updates for the Nord CE 2, we can also expect fixes for the known issues. If you’re using any of the Nord CE 2, you can simply head over to the Settings app then scroll down till you see the System updates. Tap on it and download the latest software.
If the update is not available, then you can wait for a few days. Before updating, make sure to take a backup and charge your phone to at least 50% before updating.
