OnePlus Nord 2 is receiving a new incremental update that also brings the September 2021 security patch. Earlier, the Nord 2 received OxygenOS 11.3.A.09 update and 11.3.A.10 update that brought some fixes and improvements to device performance. As we all know new phones require a few updates to boost the performance and fix bugs present on the device out of the box. And Nord 2 is almost a new phone and only got two incremental updates before. This is the third update for the device which is now rolling out for users in India, North America, and Europe.
The latest update on the OnePlus Nord 2 comes with build version: NA (DN2103_11_A.11), IN (DN2101_11_A.11), and EU (DN2103_11_A.11). And as this is an incremental update, the size will also be less. As we mentioned earlier the update brings the September 2021 security patch on Nord 2. Along with it, the update also reduces power consumption, Improved HDR effect on some shooting scenes, and more. OxygenOS A.11 for OnePlus Nord 2
The incremental update is currently rolling out in batches to users in India, North Ameria, and Europe. Since it is a batch update, you can receive the update early or maybe even after few days. You will receive the OTA update notification on your phone. Sometimes there can be a delay in the notification so you can also check the update manually by going to Settings > System > Software Update.
If the update is not available yet, then you also have the option to update manually using OTA zip or full recovery ROM.
To download the OxygenOS 11.3.A.11 for Nord 2, you can use the Oxygen Updater app. All you have to do is select your phone and the update method (incremental or full system update). It will show the latest update that you can download. But before installing, always make sure to backup your phone, and charge your phone to at least 50%. You can use the Local Upgrade option in System Update to install incremental OTA zip.
