OnePlus Nord 2 5G receives A.15 update with December monthly security patch

Earlier this month, OnePlus released a new incremental update for the Nord 2 5G smartphone with system stability and a newer monthly security patch. Now the company has kicked off yet another incremental patch to the Nord 2 5G with A.15 version number. The new update is seeding with December monthly security patch along with bugs fixes. OnePlus Nord 2 starts getting the new incremental software update with the DN2101_11_A.15 build number and weighs around 346MB in size. It is a small update, you can quickly upgrade your phone to the newer version. OnePlus did not share the information of this update on its community forum. As for now, the update is in a rolling phase, some users have already received the new update, it will be available to everyone in the coming days.

Talking about the changes then the update brings stability to video recording in AI Video Enhancement mode and fixed the issue of unclear calls on Bluetooth. Apart from that, there’s a new December 2021 monthly security patch and system stability improvements coming with this update. Here’s the complete changelog of A.15 software update.

If you’re using the Nord 2 and want to update your phone to the new A.15 update, then you can head over to the Settings > System updates and download the new update. In case the update is not visible to you, then you’ve to wait for a few days, it will be available to everyone very soon.

If the update is not available yet, then you also have the option to update manually using OTA zip or full recovery ROM.

To download latest update, you can use the Oxygen Updater app. All you have to do is select your phone and the update method (incremental or full system update). It will show the latest update that you can download. But before installing, always make sure to backup your phone, and charge your phone to at least 50%. You can use the Local Upgrade option in System Update to install incremental OTA zip.
