OnePlus kicks off OxygenOS 12 C.47 update for OnePlus 9 series

Just a few days ago, OnePlus pushed a small update – C.46 OTA to OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. Now there’s a new build rolling out to the two new 9 series phones, the newer one is labeled with C.47 version number. The latest build picks up a newer March 2022 security patch, some improvements, and bugs fixes. Here’s everything you need to know about the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro C.47 update.

The last incremental patch’s availability was limited to India and Europe, however, this build is available for users in NA and European variants. OnePlus plants the new build in NA with LE2115_11_C.47 version number, while EU users get it with LE2113_11.C.47 version on the vanilla OnePlus 9. Moving to the OnePlus 9 Pro, then the build numbers for NA and EU are LE2125_11_C.47 and LE2123_11.C.47โ€‹. This is a big update measure around 4.1GB of download size, yes, it is a big update, you can connect your phone to a WiFi network for faster downloading.

Moving to the changes, then OnePlus addresses a couple of issues in this build, fixed the issue of the operator’s name displayed incorrectly, and unable to send MMS issue. The update also brings optimization to the camera and communication services, also brings more stability across the system. OnePlus also bumps up the monthly security patch version to March 2022, here’s the complete changelog coming with the new update.

If youโ€™re a OnePlus 9 or OnePlus 9 Pro owner and facing any of the above-mentioned issues, then you can now upgrade your phone to the C.47 incremental update. The update is already available to some 9 series users in NA and EU, will be available for everyone in the next few days, you can check it inside the Settings app by moving to the System updates.

If the update is not available, then you can wait for a few days. Before updating, make sure to take a backup and charge your phone to at least 50% before updating.
