OnePlus kicks-off OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 3 for OnePlus 6 and 6T

Last month, OnePlus initially released OxygenOS 11 based Android 11 beta for OnePlus 6 and 6T. Later the device received its second open beta update with some fixes and improvements. Moving forward the enhancements, the company has released OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 3 today. Here’s everything you need to know about OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 3 Update.

The over-the-air build weighs only 191MB in size, while the full build measures around 2.03GB for downloading. The update is already available to a bunch of OnePlus 6 and 6T users opted Open Beta program, it will also be available for pending users very soon. With every open beta release, we’re going closer to the final stable update. Hopefully the stable update will be available soon.

Talking about the open beta 3, then the update goes official on OnePlus 6 and 6T with a bunch of useful fixes. The company has addressed the battery life issue and optimized background process management for better battery life. Apart from that, the update also brings fix to VoWiFi, screen lock issue for Work-Life Balance, along with improvements to the YouTube playback and system stability. OnePlus 6 and 6T received its third open beta update. If you’ve opted the beta program, then you can easily update your device to the latest open beta from the System Updates. However, if you’re running on stable OxygenOS 10 based Android 10 OS and want to switch to the OxygenOS 11 based Android 11 beta then you can join the open beta program and update to the latest open beta.

But before updating your smartphone, make sure to charge your smartphone to at least 30% and also take a backup of important data.
