OnePlus 9R receives OxygenOS 11.2.5.5 Update with improvements

Last week, the superior members of OnePlus 9 series received the OxygenOS 11.2.9.9 incremental update. Now the company has released the incremental update for OnePlus 9R in the form of OxygenOS 11.2.5.5. OnePlus kicks-off the new software update for OnePlus 9R with OxygenOS 11.2.5.5.LE28DA version number. The new firmware weighs around 412MB in size for download. And the best part is, many users had already received the update on their smartphone. We can expect it will be available to everyone within a few days. As always, the company shared update information on its community forum. OnePlus pushed the incremental software update with September 2021 monthly security patch along with a number of different changes.

Talking about the changes, then OnePlus addresses the Warp charging issue and Gmail crash issue. Apart from these changes, QuickReply and Gallery app get improvements. OnePlus 9R owners can now upgrade their smartphone to the OxygenOS 11.2.5.5 update. Usually, OnePlus rolls out the update in staged manner, the update is seeding over-the-air to OnePlus 9R. The 9R users can move to the system updates to check the new updates by heading over to the Settings > System > System Updates > click on download and install if the new build is available.
