OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 10R receiving stable Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 Update

With Android 13 already being announced, device manufacturers are racing ahead to update their flagship and mid-range devices. When it comes to releasing firmware updates, OnePlus isn’t behind. While their flagship models have already received the Android 13 based OxygenOS 13 update, its mid-rangers are now receiving the stable Android 13 update. Next in line for the update are the OnePlus 9R and the OnePlus 10R.

Users on the OnePlus forum have been reporting that they are receiving stable updates right away on their devices. This is good news for all OnePlus 9R and 10R users. The stable update firmware for the OnePlus 9R is LE2101_11_F.16 and for the OnePlus 10R it is CPH2423_11_C.14. The firmware size for both devices is above 4.6GB.

The new Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 brings in a lot of new features and changes to the device. Android 13 along with OxygenOS 13 brings in the new Aquamorphic Design to the OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 10R. You can easily adjust theme colors thanks to Android 13. The update also brings in new animations, new window layouts,  as well improved font styles for better readability. There are also improvements to the privacy and security features of the two devices.

In order for the update to be successfully downloaded and installed on your OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 10R, ensure that you have around 6-8GB of free internal storage and your phone’s battery at around 50 percent or more. The update will be rolled out to the devices in a staged manner. You can manually check for the update on your device by launching the Settings app and selecting Software upgrades. Make sure to be connected to a stable WiFi network when you might be downloading the update.

If you are in a hurry, then you can upgrade your phone manually using the OnePlus updater app, then sideload it using the local upgrade method. Before upgrading make sure to take a backup of important data. Also, make sure to charge your smartphone to at least 30%.
