OnePlus 9 Series new C.61 update fixes Camera Crash bug

OnePlus released a new incremental update to last year’s flagship OnePlus 9 series. The new OxygenOS 12.1 based C.61 update for OnePlus 9 series comes with fixes. As we all know recently OnePlus provided the latest June security patch to many of its phones. But this update for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 pro brings the old May security patch. Yes, it’s hard to understand why a flagship phone is getting an old security update.

The last incremental update C.60 was released last month with some improvements and connectivity features. But it didn’t update the security patch. And it also introduced the camera application crashing bug. After one month of the old update release, an incremental update is now being pushed in groups. It is an important update if your camera app is crashing.

The new OxygenOS 12.1 based incremental update for the OnePlus 9 series comes with build numbers LE2111_11_C.61 (OnePlus 9) and LE2121_11_C.61 (OnePlus 9 Pro). It is a small incremental update and weighs around 500MB. You can check the full changelog below.
