OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro receives OxygenOS 11.2.8.8 update with Bitmoji AOD Support and More

The last update on OnePlus 9 series released with system improvements along with the HDR support for Video recording. Now the company has started rolling out OxygenOS 11.2.8.8 update for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro with a number of new features. The newest software update on OnePlus 9 is seeding with OxygenOS 11.2.8.8.LE25DA version number in India, while the update on OnePlus 9 Pro bags 11.2.8.8.LE15DA version number. The update in Europe released with 11.2.8.8.LEx5BA and North America variants gets it with 11.2.8.8.LEx5BA build number. As it is an incremental update, it weighs only 310MB of size for downloading. A number of users have already received the latest update on their device.

Talking about the features and changes, then the latest update comes with the July 2021 monthly security patch along with the Bitmoji AOD support and OnePlus Store app. After updating your OnePlus 9 or 9 Pro to the OxygenOS 11.2.8.8 update your device will get OnePlus Store app. And one of the weirdest things is, you cannot uninstall it from your smartphone. If you’re using the OnePlus 9 series smartphone, then now you can upgrade your smartphone to the OxygenOS 11.2.8.8 update. Though, it is in a rolling phase, I suggest you to check the updates manually, as there are sometimes when OTA notification does not arrive. You can check it by heading over to the Settings > System > System Updates > click on download and install if the new build is available.
