OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro receives OxygenOS update; Nord N200 gets

Back in September, the OnePlus 9 series phones received OxygenOS software update with XPan camera mode and system enhancements. Yesterday, the company has released a new incremental update for both OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones. And this time, it is tagged with OxygenOS version number. Talking about the Nord N200, then it receives OxygenOS update. Here you can check everything about the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro OxygenOS update.

OnePlus knocks out the new software for India, Europe, and North America regions. In India, the update tags build number on vanilla OnePlus 9 and on the Pro variant. The European variant is labeled with /, while the NA build comes with / version numbers. It is a small update measure around 120MB in size on the OnePlus 9 Pro.

Moving to the changes, then the latest patch bumps up the monthly security patch to November 2021 on both Nord N200 and OnePlus 9 series phones. Additionally, the update on the 9 series brings optimizations for third-party apps, system stability, improvements, and also fixes known issues. Here are the changelogs of both updates.

If you’re using OnePlus Nord N200, OnePlus 9, or OnePlus 9 Pro, then you can now upgrade your device to the OxygenOS / version numbers. Though it is in a rolling phase, I suggest you check the updates manually, as there are sometimes when OTA notification does not arrive. You can check it by heading over to the Settings > System > System Updates > click on download and install if the new build is available.
