OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro receive OxygenOS 12 C.48 update

OnePlus has just released an incremental upgrade for the OnePlus 9 series. The new software is labeled with C.48 version number and brings an April security patch. The new update comes after one month of the C.47 build. If you own a OnePlus 9 or 9 Pro, then you can update your device to the new version. OnePlus has officially shared the information about the new build on its community forum. And the update is out for all three variants – NA, EU, and IN. The build number of the new software on the OnePlus 9 is LE2111_11.C.48 for IN, LE2113_11.C.48 for EU, and LE2115_11.C.48 for NA. Moving to the 9 Pro, then the firmware is seeding with LE2121_11.C.48 for IN, LE2123_11.C.48 for EU, and LE2125_11.C.48 for NA variant. It is a small incremental update that weighs only 147MB in download size, which you can quickly install on your smartphone.

Moving to the changes, then the update will bump up the monthly security patch version from March to April, other than that, the changelog hints at more stability across the system. The changelog is quite small this time, but still, you can check before updating your device to the OxygenOS 12 C.48.

If you own the OnePlus 9 or 9 Pro, then you can upgrade your smartphone to the new software. It is already available for download, you can check it inside the Settings app by moving to the System updates. You can also manually sideload it using Oxygen updator app.

If the update is not available, then you can wait for a few days. Before updating, make sure to take a backup and charge your phone to at least 50% before updating.
