OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro get OxygenOS C.60 update with RAM Expansion

OnePlus has just released an incremental upgrade for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, in the form of OxygenOS 12.1 C.60 update. The new update comes after one month of the C.48 version and bags a couple of new goodies alongside more stability across the system. If you own a OnePlus 9 or 9 Pro, then you can update your device to the new version. Read along to know more details of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro OxygenOS C.60 update.

At the moment, the rollout is in early phases, OnePlus has not confirmed the rollout yet, but, there are some users who had already received the new update in India, a wider rollout should follow soon. According to a OnePlus 9 Pro user, the latest update is seeding with the LE2121_11.C.60_1600_202205101821 software version. Although it is a minor upgrade still it weighs a whopping 1.57GB in size of the download, you can download it over cellular data or a WiFi network. The new update is based on OxygenOS 12.1.

Talking about the features and changes, then the C.60 update comes with a RAM Expansion option, floating window and split-screen modes, quickly access clock app in quick return, new gaming features – Hyperboost, and more. Apart from that, the update brings enhancements across system. The update also brings 90Hz refresh rate support for PUBG. Here’s the complete changelog of the new update.

If you own the OnePlus 9 or 9 Pro, then you can upgrade your smartphone to the new software. It is already available for download, you can check it inside the Settings app by moving to the System updates. You can also manually sideload it using Oxygen updator app.

If the update is not available, then you can wait for a few days. Before updating, make sure to take a backup and charge your phone to at least 50% before updating.
