Now the news comes out that the OnePlus 8 series phones which include the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8T started receiving the stable Android 13 upgrade. If you own the OnePlus 8 series phone, then you may know that usually, OnePlus confirmed the update rollouts on its community forum. But at the time of writing, the company has not confirmed it officially, instead, there are some users allegedly receiving the new update with a bunch of new features. Whether you own the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, or OnePlus 8T you can navigate to the Software upgrades settings and check if there’s a new update available or not. In case the update is not available yet, you can wait for a few days. OnePlus usually releases major upgrades in a staged manner.
If you are in a hurry, then you can upgrade your phone manually using the OnePlus updater app, then sideload it using the local upgrade method. Before upgrading make sure to take a backup of important data. Also, make sure to charge your smartphone to at least 30%.
