OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T users are still waiting for the latest Android 11 update which is currently available only for beta testers. The first Oxygen OS 11 beta for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T was released earlier this month. The more beta updates we receive to test the closer we get to stable Android 11 for the OnePlus 6/6T series. OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T are the 2019 Android phones from OnePlus. And till now the OnePlus 6 received 2 major updates whereas the OnePlus 6T only received one major update as Android 10. Recently OnePlus also revised the OnePlus Android update policy. And according to that, both the OnePlus 6 & OnePlus 6T are eligible for the Android 11 update. Well, here Oneplus 6 users are lucky as this will be the third major update.
As usual, OnePlus make the OnePlus 6 & OnePlus 6T Android 11 beta 2 official by taking it to their forum. Well as of now we don’t have the build number of OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 2 for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T, but we will share it with you once it’s available. Luckily the OEM has shared the changelog for the latest beta update.

OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus 6 & OnePlus 6T
It is the second Android 11 beta for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T which is now available for users who want to test Android 11 before the official release. OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T users who already using the first Android 11 beta will receive the OTA update on their phones. While users using the stable build can either install the OxygenOS 11 Beta 1 upgrade via local upgrade and update to Open Beta 2 or you can directly install the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 2 (if files are available).
In case if you want to first update your OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T to OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 1, then you can download the given files for both phones.
Once you have the downloaded file, you can manually install it from settings. First, make sure to take a full backup and charge your phone to at least 50%. For local upgrade, go to Settings > System > System Update. Now click on the Settings icon on the top right corner then select Local upgrade and choose the download Open Beta update file.
When you join the Open Beta program on your device, you will receive upcoming beta updates over the air.
