Breaking: Samsung kicks off One UI 6 Watch stable update for Galaxy Watch 6

Samsung has been testing the One UI 6 Watch beta on Galaxy Watches for a long time now. The tech giant recently released the eighth beta for Galaxy Watch 6, which further enhances the newest software upgrade. So, after months of testing, today, Samsung has released the One UI 6 Watch stable update for Galaxy Watch 6, which is based on Wear OS 5.

Samsung is pushing the stable version to the Galaxy Watch 6 with the R930XXU1BXJ5 build number. The update will be pushed first to those running on the beta version, the incremental upgrade weighs around 136MB in download size.

For the time being, the update’s availability is limited to Galaxy Watch 6, if you own the Galaxy Watch 4 or 5, you may need to wait a few more days to get access to new features.

One UI 6 Watch-based Wear OS 5 is a massive upgrade for Galaxy Watches, it includes Galaxy AI and a big list of new features. Talking about the other features, then it enhances the battery backup, more personalized health insights, enhanced sleep tracking, Thumb and index finger double touch gestures, faster scrolling, universal gesture support for quick launch, and many others.

Galaxy Watch 6 users in South Korea and the US can check new software updates in the Galaxy Wearable app. To check new updates, you can navigate to Galaxy Wearable app > Settings > Software Updates. If the update is available you can download and install it on your watch, if not, you can wait for a few days.
