Samsung has released the eighth beta of One UI 6 Watch for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. And with this beta update, Samsung has moved one more step closer to releasing the stable One UI 6 Watch for its eligible Galaxy watches.
Currently, the One UI 6 Watch Beta 8 is only available for the Galaxy Watch 6, but it could soon be available for Watch 5 and Watch 4 lineup as the seventh beta. We will update with the latest information when the update is available for older models.
The latest One UI 6 Watch beta is available for Galaxy Watch 6 with software version ZXJ5. If you are a part of One UI watch beta program, the latest beta update will be available over the air. You can update directly from your Watch or you can use a paired phone.
Talking about changes and new features, the One UI 6 Watch Beta 8 comes with performance improvements and bug fixes. This is not surprising as the update is close to stable release and the tech giant is now focusing on the stability instead of new features.
Here is the changelog that come with One UI 6 Watch Beta 8:
- Improved system stability and optimized system performance
- Improved consumption current issue of battery
- Improved the issue of network interoperability
- Other improvements
As mentioned above, the update is available to beta testers. If you are not a beta tester, I will suggest waiting for the final release which is now quite close. Opting for the beta at this point will not make sense, so wait a little longer.
To manually update your Galaxy Watch, open Wearable app on your phone and go to Galaxy Watch > Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install.
