One UI 6 Watch Beta 5 fixes battery consumption issue and more

The next big update based on Wear OS 5 for the Galaxy Watch is in testing and is expected to be released to the public soon. Samsung has released the fifth One UI 6 Watch Beta and with this beta, we get even closer to the public release.

The fifth beta is seeding with build number ZXH4 (R960XXU1ZXH4). It weighs around 380MB in size and it brings August security patch.

As the One UI 6 Watch Beta inches closer to the stable release, the beta update includes only the fixes and improvements, which was expected.

  • Improved consumption current issue of battery
  • Improved application execution performance
  • Improved the issue of network interoperability
  • Support Global AOD
  • Other improvements

Users have started receiving the update on their Galaxy smartwatches. If you have opted for the beta program, you will see the update on your watch as well. If you have not opted in to the beta program, I suggest you wait for the public update. Before upgrading to the new beta, make sure to back up your watch.

To install the update, connect your phone to watch. Then go to Galaxy Wearable > Galaxy Watch > Watch settings > Watch software update > Download and install.
