One UI 6.1 Update Reaches Three-Year-Old Galaxy A72

These days, Samsung is working on providing the anticipated software upgrade to older models and budget phones. The company has now released the One UI 6.1 upgrade for the three-year-old Galaxy A72 smartphone. Read on to explore more details.

For the time being, the update is rolling out in Russia and will soon be released to other regions. Samsung releases a new software upgrade to the Galaxy A72 with A725FXXU7FXE1 build number. It is a big upgrade, with a download size of approximately 2.2GB.

The update will bump up the monthly security patch version to April 2024. In terms of features, the One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy A72 brings photo enhancement AI recommendations, improved gallery search, new lock screen widgets, new wallpaper editing tools, revamped calendar settings, Google Search suggestions inside the finder app, and more.

The Galaxy A72 users can finally upgrade their phones to the newest One UI 6.1 update. If you reside in Russia, you may have already received the update on your device. If not, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Remember to back up your important data before installing the update. No, the update will not erase your data, but take a backup just in case. Also, charge your phone to at least 50%.
