Samsung’s One UI 6.1 hits Galaxy M14 and More Devices

It’s a festive season for Galaxy phone users as Samsung is continuously rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for its eligible devices. Recently, a few more Galaxy phones received the latest big update, One UI 6.1, so now only a few devices are left to get the update.

It looks like Samsung wants to complete the rollout before dedicating more time to the next iteration of One UI, One UI 7, whose beta will be available soon for the latest flagship phones.

Starting with Galaxy M14 which is an entry level phone is now getting One UI 6.1 update in India, Turkey, and some other countries. The update arrives with firmware build M146BXXU5CXE2 and carries May 2024 security patch.

Samsung also released One UI 6.1 for Galaxy M23 in Europe. And the update comes with firmware version M236BXXU6EXE5. It is likely to be available in more regions soon.

The Galaxy M33 is also getting the taste of latest One UI 6.1 update in South Korea where it is known as Galaxy Jump2. Galaxy Jump3 also recently got the update. The update for Jump 2 is available with build M336KKSU5DWK6.

After rolling out One UI 6.1 for a bunch of Galaxy A series phones in past couple of weeks, Samsung now also brings One UI 6.1 on Galaxy A23 (4G model). The One UI 6.1 for the device is rolling out with build A235FXXU6EXE3. It also brings the May 2024 Security patch.

Galaxy Quantum 2 is also among the latest phones to get One UI 6.1 update. The device is exclusive to only South Korea and that is where the update is rolling out. One UI 6.1 for Galaxy Quantum 2 is available with build number A826SKSU5GXE1.

Talking about new features, all the mentioned devices are getting almost similar changes. You get to experience New Wallpaper editing experience, new widgets in lock screen, customize alarm alerts, easily re-order modes, new Samsung Find to locate your devices, enhanced data protection, and more. As usual updates are rolling out in batches, which means those who haven’t got the update yet can expect the OTA in a few days or weeks. To check for the update go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
