Samsung began rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update in early September, starting with the Galaxy S24 series in South Korea. Later the tech giant expanded One UI 6.1.1 for Galaxy S24 to other regions. The company has now started rolling out the update to older foldables and tablets as well.

One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series is rolling out to users in South Korea. Similar to the Galaxy S24 schedule, the update for 2023 foldables and tablets will expand to other regions soon.

The One UI 6.1.1 update was introduced with Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in July and brings several new features, including many AI features.

As I mentioned earlier, the update adds a bunch of new features. Some of the highlights include Sketch to Image, Portrait Studio, Reply Suggestions, Live call translate on third party apps, Composer, voice recorder in Samsung Notes, and many other features. You can check the full changelog from Galaxy S24. While not everything will be identical to Galaxy S24, most of the key features will remain the same.

The One UI 6.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series is currently rolling out in batches in South Korea. These updates will be available in more regions in the coming days. Telus users can expect the update next week, while for other regions and carriers, it may start earlier or later.

You can check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Donโ€™t forget to backup your phone before installing the update.
