It’s only a day since the official announcement of One UI 5 and Samsung has already picked up the pace. One UI 5 beta program is now open for two more Galaxy devices. We are talking about Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Note 20 series. The beta program is already available for the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, and the mid ranger Galaxy A52.
Samsung mentioned at the event that Stable One UI 5 will be available for the Galaxy S22 series in October. And soon it will be available for other Samsung Galaxy in the coming weeks. Since the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra have entered the beta program, they will also get stable Android 13 in a few months probably early next year. Whereas the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to get the update this year.

One UI 5 beta is live for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra users in the US. While the beta program of Galaxy Z Flip 3 is open in South Korea and UK.
So if you have a Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Galaxy Note 20 and you are in select regions then you can apply for the beta program. All you have to do is open the Samsung Members app and sign in with a Samsung account. You will see a banner on the main page. If not then you can check the in-app notification (bell icon).

One UI 5 is based on Android 13 and it comes with a lot of new features and improved animations for smooth performance. It also brings the lock screen customization which is better than what was available in the Good Lock customization. Since this is the first One UI 5 beta update for Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Note 20, there can be some bugs in recent builds, so make sure you are aware of the possible issues. And before upgrading your Galaxy device to beta update make sure you backup your device and charge it to at least 50%.
