One UI 3.1.1 is the new and latest update for the Samsung Galaxy smartphones. It is now available for a bunch of Galaxy Foldable phones with more features improving the fold and flip phone experience. Both Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 already launched with One UI 3.1.1 earlier which also showcases new features. And now the same update is rolling out for other foldable phones. Yes, the One UI 3.1.1 is now available for Galaxy Z Fold 2, Fold, and Z Flip.
The update brings a bunch of new features which are exclusive to foldable phones. It will help improve multitasking and get better performance on your foldable phones. The list of new features can vary for Flip and Fold as their form factor is different, but you will find many new common features on both series.
As of now, we don’t have the complete changelog for the Galaxy Fold & Galaxy Z Flip One UI 3.1.1 update, reports from Sammobile states the update brings features like Natural window switching, better Multi-Active window, Drag & Split, Cover Screen Mirroring, Rotate All Apps, Custom Aspect Ratio, App Split View, Flex Mode Native Support, and Taskbar.
Most of the mentioned features are exclusive to Z Fold and Fold phones, the Z Flip also gets plenty of new useful features which include Flex Mode Panel and Drag & Split. One UI 3.1.1 for Galaxy Z Fold2, Fold, Z Flip
The new One UI 3.1.1 update is currently rolling out for users in the US. But within a few days, it will be available in other regions too. As usual, it is a staged rollout which means some users can get the One UI 3.1.1 update early while other users will get it in a few weeks.
Sometimes the OTA update notification doesn’t appear, and in that case, you can manually check for the update from Settings > Software Update. Click on Download & Install to get the latest update. Always take a backup of your phone and charge it to at least 50% before updating the device.
