Samsung has finally answered the burning question: When will One UI 7.0 be released to the public? The company has officially announced the release date of a stable Android 15-based One UI 7 update.
Today, Samsung shared a new press release in which the company officially confirmed the stable One UI 7 rollout details and features of their in-house One UI 7 custom skin.
One UI 7.0 stable rollout is to begin on April 7 and the Galaxy S24 series mostly probably going to be one of the first devices to receive the anticipated software upgrade.
Apart from the Galaxy S24 series, the update will also be available for the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, the Galaxy Tab S10 series, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series. However, the availability may vary by market.
One UI 7 is the company’s newest skin that packs several new features and upgrades including the new Galaxy AI features like writing assist tools and call transcripts.
Additionally, One UI 7 brings several personalization features including the all-new Now Bar (Samsung’s implementation of Dynamic Island) which shows live activities such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more.
Apart from that, there’s a fresh user interface for the home screen paired with all-new app icons, a quick panel, font, widgets, and more. One UI 7 also enhances the Camera app UX with more intuitive control over advanced settings.
The availability of new Galaxy AI features might remain limited to flagship phones and tablets only. If you own the Galaxy S24 or S23 series device, you will get access to the company’s latest AI tools.
