Nokia rolls out Android 10 Update for Nokia 1 [Android Go Edition]

The base variant of Nokia 1 now receiving the Android 10 update. Nokia 1 is an Android Go and as Nokia promised, they are now rolling out the Android 10 Go edition for the device. The Plus variant already received the Android 10 update in the last week of April and finally, it’s time for the standard edition. As usual Juho Sarvikas (Chief Product Officer at HMD Global) announced the update via tweet in Twitter and many users have confirmed that they already received the Android 10 Update. As per the Nokia officials, 10% of users from the listed regions will get the Android 10 update on the first day of its rollout. And by 10th July 50% of users will receive the update. Remaining 50% of users will also get the update by 12th July. It means if you are Nokia 1 user then you will get the Nokia 1 Android 10 update this week.

The update is rolling out in batches and so it is possible that you may receive the update on the first day or in the last batch. The OTA updates generally trigger a notification when the update is available. But sometimes we do not receive notification for the update.   • Make sure to charge your phone to at least 30%.
  • Take a full backup of your data, in case of failures you may lose your data.

  1. Connect your device to the working Internet and also charge your phone to at least 50% to update without interruption.
  2. Open Settings on your Phone.
  3. Then go to System > System Updates.
  4. After that check for the update and it will show the available update.
  5. Download & Install the Android 10 update on your Nokia 1.

Now reboot your smartphone. Once done, you can start using your device on Android 10.
