Mumbai, Chennai, and Chandigarh could be names of Lava’s upcoming smartphones

Lava, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, is working on a bunch of new smartphones. We’ve recently shared a report about the upcoming Lava Z1 and Lava Flip (feature phone), as the device was listed on Geekbench. Now we found other listings, which suggests the naming of other few upcoming smartphones of Lava.

According to the recent Geekbench listings, Lava could launch three smartphones in India with these naming – Mumbai, Chennai, and Chandigarh. These listings indicate that the upcoming Lava phones will be named on three popular cities of India. There are some chances, that these may be the codenames of the upcoming phones of Lava.

All these phones went through Geekbench and its scores are out. It means Lava will soon release these phones as early as Diwali which is on 14th November.

According to the Geekbench listings, all three phones are running on Android 10 (out-of-the-box), and according to our sources, it’s stock Android, so there’s no need to be worried about the spammy notifications.

The device listed with Lava Chandigarh naming, is coupled with 3GB RAM and powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. Talking about the score, the device scores 165 in a Single Core score and 919 in multi core score.

The listing indicates that all these phones will be priced under the budget segment. Now let’s take a look at other two phones Geekbench listings.

Lava Chennai is likely to come with a 2GB RAM and MediaTek Helio SoC. It scores 146 in a Single Core and 515 for multi core. Talking about the Lava Mumbai, then the smartphone could with 2GB RAM and Spreadtrum Unisoc chipset, the same chipset available in the Lava Z66.

Lava Mumbai is recorded 131 for single core and 483 for multi core. We’ll also share more details about other models very soon, so stay connected with us.
