Motorola starts rolling Android 11 Update for Moto One Action

Motorola One Action now joins the club of Android 11 running smartphones. Yes, Motorola has officially kicked-off the Android 11 update for Moto One Action. The smartphone was announced back in 2019 with Android Pie 9.0. Last year, it received its first major OS upgrade in the form of Android 10 update. Now the device is set to get its second major update with a bunch of new features, improvements, and bug fixes. Here you can check everything about Moto One Action Android 11 Update.

As per the information shared by Senior MotoAgent on company’s community forum, the update is sowing in the Brazil region. We can expect it will be available to other regions in the coming days. The agent also confirms that it is an official update, yes, it’s not a soak test, the official Android 11 build is rolling out in Brazil. As it is a major update it may require a chunk of data for downloading the update.

The newer build also bumps up the monthly security version number and build number on your smartphone. Apart from that, we can expect a number of visual changes, alongside the Chat Bubbles, change in Notification panel & volume controls, improved performance, and many other features ofย Android 11. As for now the changelog is not available to us, but the update should come with a bunch of new features, which are mentioned in the above paragraph.

Motorola One Action Android 11 Update

Motorola One Action users can now update their smartphone to Android 11 update. As for now, it is in a rolling phase, if youโ€™ve received the update on your smartphone via OTA, then simply tap on it and download the new update. But there are sometimes when OTA notification doesnโ€™t arrive, in that case, you can head over to the Settings app > System > Software Update, if the update is available then tap on Download and Install.

If the update is not available on your unit, then you can wait for a few days, staged rollouts take some time to reach every smartphone.

Before updating your smartphone, make sure toย take a backupย of important data. Also, make sure to charge your smartphone to at least 30%.
