Motorola rolls out Android 13 Update for Moto G52

Itโ€™s Android 13, not Android 14. Motorola seems to be running one year behind other popular smartphone brands in terms of updates. While other brands are now releasing Android 14, Motorola is still working on Android 13 update for its remaining phones.

Moto G52 is the latest Motorola phone to receive the Android 13 update. This is the first major update for the device, which should have arrived a while back, but it’s finally here at last.

Some users have already received the Android 13 update on their Moto G52, as confirmed by Twitter aka X users u/GlumConsideration245 and u/Glittering_Amoeba_47. The Android 13 update for Moto G52 comes with build number T2SR33.72-22-4. And the update weighs 1.58GB. So make sure to use WiFi if you don’t want to exhaust your Mobile data.

In terms of new features, the update brings a bunch of Android 13 features. It includes more customization controls, new media player artwork with dancing playback bar, notification controls for apps, and more along with improved Android security patch. Here’s the changelog.
