Since December 2020, Motorola has been testing the Android 10 on the Motorola One Macro via its soak testers program. But now, after successfully releasing the Android 11 stable build to the Moto G Pro. Motorola has started pushing the stable Android 10 update to Motorola One Macro. The latest build bags a slew of new features, improvements, and monthly security patch. Here’s everything you need to know about Motorola One Macro Android 10 Update.
There are some users reportedly receiving the update and @payalhrishabh is one the Motorola One Macro users who have received the Android 10 stable build via OTA. The newer update is sowing with QMD30.47-19 version number in India and weighs around 1.5GB size for downloading. The airborne update will bump up the security patch version from November 2020 to December 2020. It also bags a list of new useful features.
The first major OS (Android 10) update on Motorola One Macro comes with some useful features like, Dark Mode, Smart Reply, Focus Mode, Enhanced location and privacy tools, new gestures, incognito mode for select Google apps, Live caption, and a few more features. Other than that, as I said earlier, the update will bring the newer version of security patch to the Motorola One Macro.
Motorola One Macro Android 10 Update (Stable)
Android 10 update is rolling over-the-air to the Motorola One Macro, it might take some time to reach every device. In case you’ve not received the OTA notification on your Motorola One Macro, then I recommend you to check the updates manually in the system settings.
To manually check for updates simply go to Settings on your Motorola One Macro. And then go to System > Software Update. It will show the available update that you can download and install on your phone.
Before updating your smartphone to the newer update, make sure to charge your device to at least 40% and also take a backup of important data before sideloading the update.
