While other smartphone OEMs are already working on providing the new Android 13 update, Motorola is still working on pushing the Android 12 update to the pending models. The company has now released the Android 12 update for the Moto G60s. The new upgrade is rolling with many new features, changes, and improvements. The new firmware is seeding with the S3RL32.114-9 software version and weighs around 1.46GB in size. Yes, as it is a major OS upgrade, it requires a huge chunk of data for downloading.
Motorola G60s was announced last year with Android 11 OS and now is the time for its first major system upgrade – the Android 12 update. The upgrade is in a rolling phase. Currently, the OTA is weeding in the European regions and will be available to everyone in the coming days. The rollout is confirmed by a Twitter user (@veraoalessandro) confirmed the information about the new update.
Talking about the features and changes, the Moto G60s Android 12 build bag features such as Material You, an updated notification panel, new widgets, and a bunch of security and privacy features. Apart from that, the update comes with a slew of customization options such as font style, size, colors, icon shapes, layouts, wallpapers, and more from the home screen menu. Apart from that, there’s a new security patch as well, although, the exact version of the security patch is unknown yet.
Moto G60s Android 12 update
If you live in Europe and own the Moto G60s then you can try upgrading your phone to Android 12 by heading over to the Settings > System > Advanced > System updates and check for the new updates.
If the update is not available, you can wait for a few days or update it manually. Before updating your phone make sure to charge it to at least 50% and also make a backup of important data.
