Are you waiting for Android 14 on your Moto G84? If Yes, then I have a great news. Motorola kicks off Android 14 update for Moto G84 5G. The company did a terrible job with releasing updates last year, but this year Motorola impressed users with back to back updates in the early 2024. And now another Motorola phone is receiving stable Android 14 update.

Motorola Moto G84 is a new phone released only about half a year ago, around the same time that Android 14 was released to the Public. So after a long wait the stable update is finally rolling out to the Public. Android 14 is the first major update for Moto G84 5G.

A X user, LuanFar1as confirmed the release of stable Android 14 for Moto G84. The update seems to be available in Portugal but it may be live in other regions as well. If not, it will be available soon. The Android 14 update for Moto G84 5G is rolling out with build number U1TC34.22-64-6. And the update weighs in at 1.86GB.

The new Android 14 update brings a bunch of new features to Moto G84 5G. These changes are almost same as the update for other Motorola phones. This include lock screen customizations, monochrome themes with more color options, use your phone as a webcam, a new battery settings page, and even bigger fonts, improved privacy and security, and more.

If you own a Moto G84 5G, you will receive the Android 14 OTA update if you haven’t already. You can manually check for the update in Settings. In case if you don’t see the update, it means the update is not yet available in your region or device.

Once you get the update, do make sure to take backup on your important data before installing the update. Also charge your phone to at least 50%.
