Motorola extends Android 15 beta update to Moto G85

Motorola has started rolling out the Android 15 beta update for Moto G85. The update comes a few days after the release of the Moto G54 and G64. Needless to say, the update has a big list of new features and changes.

The beta testing for Moto G85 is live in the following regions – Brazil, EMEA, India, and LATAM. The phone was launched with the Android 14 operating system and is all set to receive the first major OS upgrade.

Moto G85 receives the Android 15 beta update with V1UO35H.50 build number which weighs around 1.4GB in download size. Thanks to MotoFanBoy on X (formerly Twitter) for sharing this information as well as the screenshot of the update.

Android 15 update for Motorola phones bundled with a bunch of new features, including the new lock screen customization features, updated quick panel, Circle to Search functionality of compatible devices, Gen AI emojis, new emoji stickers, improved connections, and more.

If you own the Moto G85, you can take part in the MFN program to get the Android 15 beta. You can follow our step by step guide on joining the beta program.

If you already joined the MFN program, then you will receive the beta update through a special OTA update. You can manually check for new updates by navigating to Settings > System updates > Check for system updates.
