Earlier this month, Motorola kicked off the Android 13 update for its newest flagship smartphone – the Moto Edge 30 Pro. Now there’s news of another Edge series phone receiving the new software. Motorola is pushing the new software to the Edge 20 Pro with the T1RA33.55-15-10 software version number. For the time being, the upgrade is available for the RETEU model, a broader rollout should follow in the coming days. As it is a major upgrade it weighs around 1.44GB in size, currently available in Australia, Germany, and Poland. A number of users had already received the new upgrade, here’s a screenshot shared by a Reddit user (u/konradinhos).

Android 13 upgrade goes live for the Moto Edge 20 Pro with a flurry of new features. The list of features includes revamped personalization panel with the support of more color palettes, updated notifications panel, revamped Music Player, Bluetooth LE audio support,ย per-app languageย feature, app notifications permission, and many more.

At the time of writing, we are not aware of the stability of the new update. I suggest you wait for a few days for an incremental upgrade and then install it on your phone, or if you are in a hurry, then you can take a backup of important data and then install it on your phone.

If you own the Moto Edge 20 Pro and waiting for the new Android 13 upgrade, then you can navigate to Settings > System > Advanced > System updates and check for the new updates. As it is currently in a rolling phase, you can wait for a few days for the official OTA notification. It is a big upgrade you can connect your phone to WiFi to cut down the download time.

If the update is not available, you can wait for a few days or update it manually. Before updating your phone make sure to charge it to at least 50% and also make a backup of important data.
