Motorola has started rolling out the Android 12 update for Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. The update comes out five months after the release of the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Pro. The company takes too much time to release the big upgrade for the Edge 20 Fusion, but better late than never. The new update is rolling with a bunch of new features and changes, here are all details about the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion Android 12 update.
The new software update is tagged with the S2RK32.92-11-21 version number and measures around 1.54GB of download size. It is the first major OS upgrade for the Edge 20 Fusion, the phone was launched in August 2021 with Android 11.
At the time of writing, the update is in the rolling phase, some lucky owners had already received the new update, here’s a screenshot from a Twitter user (@Ssourav_). In a series of tweets, he mentions that the new update fixes the front camera skin tone issue, adds extra dim functionality, and improves the overall experience on the OS.
Apart from these features, Motorola’s My UX based Android 12 comes with features like Material You, an updated notification panel, new widgets, and a bunch of security and privacy features. Apart from that, the update comes with a slew of customization options such as font style, size, colors, icon shapes, layouts, wallpapers, and more from the home screen menu.

If you own the Moto Edge 20 Fusion and waiting for the new software then you can easily upgrade your phone to the new version. You can head over to the Settings > System > Advanced > System updates and check for the new updates.
If the update is not available, you can wait for a few days or update it manually. Before updating your phone make sure to charge it to at least 50% and also make a backup of important data.
