Moto G9 Plus Android 11 Update is out! Download Now!

Last month, Motorola initially released the Android 11 update for its G9 Play and G9 Power phones. While the users of Moto G9 Plus are waiting to get hands-on to the newest Android 11 update. A couple of G9 Plus users on Reddit, confirmed that the Android 11 update is out for the Moto G9 Plus. The company has planted the new update with RPA31.Q2-59-17 and it is available in Asia and Europe. The wider rollout should be followed in the coming days or weeks in the worst case. The size of the over-the-air build is around 1.3GB for downloading. It’s obvious, the major upgrade’s OTA should weigh more than usual incremental patches.

Moto G9 Plus users can now upgrade their phones to Android 11 OS. But, at the time of writing, the update is limited to select users. I hope it will be available to everyone within a few days. If you’re using Moto G9 Plus then you’ll get the OTA notification or you can also check the system updates manually, as there are sometimes when OTA notification does not arrive. Check the new updates by heading over to the Settings app > System > Software Update, if the update is available then tap on Download and Install.

If the update is not available on your unit, then you can wait for a few days, staged rollouts take some time to reach every smartphone.

Before updating your smartphone, make sure to take a backup of important data. Also, make sure to charge your smartphone to at least 30%.
