Moto G54 Power Edition Gets Android 14 Update

Motorola offers a wide range of phones to choose from, especially within the G-series. Last year, the company released two models offering similar specs, dubbed, the Moto G54 and the G54 Power Edition.

The anticipated Android 14 update for the vanilla G54 was released in March. Today, Motorola starts rolling out the Android 14 update for Moto G54 Power Edition.

Motorola is seeding the new software with U1TD34.94-12-7 version number with a download size of around 1.68GB. The rollout is already live in various countries across Europe, with a broader rollout expected to commence very soon. It is already available to many users, here’s a screenshot shared by DogeTheComputerGuy.

In terms of changes, the Android 14 update for Moto G54 Power Edition comes with a flurry of useful features including lock screen customizations, monochrome themes with more color options, use your phone as a webcam, a new battery settings page, and even bigger fonts, improved privacy and security, and more.

If you reside in Europe and own the G54 Power Edition, then you can now upgrade your phone to Android 14 by navigating to Settings > System updates > Check for updates. However, the update is currently rolling out in a staged manner and will be available to everyone in the coming days, you can wait if the update is not visible on your device.

Make sure to take a backup before updating your phone. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% before updating the device.
