Motorola began its Android 14 rollout journey with mid-range G-series phones. Later, the update was extended to the Edge series and other devices in its portfolio. Recently, the company released the anticipated software upgrade for the Razr 2023 series.
Now, in the latest development, the company has expanded access to the entry-level G-series smartphone, Moto G23. The rollout begins from the European market, including Spain and the UK, with a broader rollout to commence in a matter of time.
As per the details shared by users on Motorola’s community forum, the update carries the UHA34.29_060201 firmware version with a download size of around 1.53GB.

It isn’t a super stable update, users have reported issues after upgrading their Moto G23 to Android 14, the list includes issues like faster battery drain, performance issues, slow charging, notification panel lags, and some other bugs. You can read this forum post.
I recommend waiting for at least one more incremental update, which should address these bugs. Obviously, you can pause the automatic updates. If you reside in Spain or the UK and own the Moto G23, you can check the new update by navigating to Settings > System updates > Check for updates.
Make sure to take a backup before updating your phone. Also, charge your phone to at least 50% before updating the device.
Moving to the features, the Android 14 update for Motorola phones comes with features like lock screen customizations, monochrome themes with more color options, use your phone as a webcam, a new battery settings page, and even bigger fonts, improved privacy and security, and more.
