Microsoft releases Windows 11 preview build 22624.1391 with redesigned Voice Access Help

After releasing the big Windows 11 Moment 2 update to everyone earlier this week, Microsoft now releases a preview build to Insiders in the beta channel. The new Windows 11 Insider Preview build 22624.1391 is a weekly beta update. As usual, the update is available in two different builds 22624.1391 and 22621.1391.

Microsoft takes a good approach to testing and releasing Windows updates. The company releases Insider Preview builds every week for each channel to Insiders like Beta, and Dev. For some reason (maybe preparation for big update) the company did not release the update for the beta channel last week. The last update to the beta channel was build 22623.1325 which brought new widgets for the Start menu.

The new Windows 11 build 22624.1391 also comes with a new feature and some bug fixes. If you don’t know about the latest big Windows 11 update, check out everything about the Moment 2 update on this page.

Windows 11 build 22624.1391 brings improvements to Voice access commands. The voice access help page now comes with redesigned UI which makes it easier to use and find anything you are looking for from its search option. And each command is mentioned with its description. To access the help page open Voice Access and then tap on the Help icon followed by View all commands.

Voice access now supports other English dialects such as English -UK, English – India, English – New Zealand, English – Canada, English – Australia.

The update also addresses a couple of bugs from the last update. You can check them below.

Fixes for BOTH Build 22621.1391 & Build 22624.1391

  • This update improves the reliability of Windows after you install an update.
  • Fixed an issue from the last Beta Channel flight which was causing Notification Center, Quick Settings, and taskbar jump lists to not work for some Insiders.

If you are an Insider user in the Beta channel, you can receive Windows 11 build 22624.1391 or 22621.1391. If you receive build 22621.1391 which comes with fewer changes, you will have the option to switch to build 22624.1391. To check for the update go to Settings > Windows Update.
