Mi 11x Pro starts getting Android 12 based MIUI 13 update in India

Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 13 update for Mi 11x Pro in India. A couple of Mi 11-series phones have already received the company’s Android 12-centric skin, the list includes these phones – Mi 11i, Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Lite 5G, and Mi 11 Lite 5G NE. And now its a time for the Mi 11x Pro. It comes with a big list of new features and changes, read along to know more about the Mi 11x Pro MIUI 13 update.

Xiaomi plants the new firmware on Mi 11x Pro with V13.0.1.0.SKKINXM software version in India. It is the first major upgrade for the smartphone, requires a big chunk of data, you can connect your phone to a WiFi network for faster downloading. Some users have already received the OTA and as per the details, the new firmware weighs approx. 3.1GB of download size, will be available to more users in the coming days. The update also bumps up the monthly security patch on Mi 11x Pro to February 2022.

Talking about the features and changes, then the latest build on Mi 11x Pro comes with a slew of new features including an optimized file storage system, RAM optimization engine, processor priority optimization, extended battery life of up to 10%, sidebar, and more. As of now, it doesn’t have features like the new Super Wallpapers and the new widgets system, we can expect that it will be rolled out with an incremental OTA. The wait is finally over, you can now access the features of MIUI 13 on your Mi 11x Pro smartphone. For the time being, the new skin is available for users who opted company’s beta testing program known as the pilot testing program. If everything goes fine, we can expect a stable OTA within the next few weeks.
