After months of delays, Samsung is now widely rolling out the One UI 7 update to eligible devices. Just last month alone, the company pushed the update to over a dozen smartphones and tablets, and a similar rollout pace is expected to continue through June.

One UI 7 is a big upgrade rolling out with features like Now Bar, which shows live activities such as Interpreter, Music, Recording, Stopwatch, and more. The update also comes with user interface changes, starting with the app icons, quick panel, font, new One UI widgets, and more.
If you own Galaxy smartphone or tablet is eligible to receive One UI 7 update in May, you should take a backup of important data before installing this major software upgrade.
Samsung usually rolls out One UI updates in a staged manner, and you will receive an OTA notification once the update reaches your device. In case you miss the notification, you can navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
