LG G8 ThinQ Starts Receiving Android 10 Update (Stable)

LG G8 ThinQ is a 2019 flagship device by LG and after testing the latest Android 10 beta for about 1 month finally, the stable Android 10 rolling out. The Android 10 update is currently rolling out in the South Korea region and it brings most of the Android 10 features. LG should have rolled out the Android 10 update earlier because LG G8 ThinQ is a flagship device and flagship devices from other companies already got the Android 10 update. LG G8 Thinq comes with Android 9 based LG UX 8.0 OS out of the box. And as promised LG starts pushing the Android 10 update. Currently the LG G8 ThinQ stable Android 10 update is rolling out in South Korea and it is expected to soon release in other regions. If you are from South Korea then you must have received the Android 10 update for LG G8 ThinQ. And if not then you might have to wait for a few days as the update is rolling out in batches. Or you can also search for an update manually from settings.

How to Install LG G8 ThinQ Android 10 Update

Since the update is only available in South Korea, users from other regions have to wait till the further announcement regarding the update. And if you are from South Korea but did not receive the update notification then you can manually check for update and install it.

  1. Connect your phone to the working internet connection.
  2. Open Settings on your LG G8 ThinQ.
  3. In Settings go to System > System Updates.
  4. In System update, click on Check for Updates button.
  5. If the update is available then it will display after checking.
  6. Now click on Download & Install update and enjoy the latest Android 10 on LG G8 ThinQ.

The stable Android 10 update for LG V50s ThinQ may also be releasing in a few days or weeks. But for now, the LG G8 ThinQ users can enjoy and experience the Android 10 features. Also, stay connected to get the OTA zip file in case if you manually want to update your LG G8 ThinQ.
