Lava Z90 Review:

Build Quality & Design:

We tested all the Z-series smartphones personally, and we like the build quality of all the four smartphones. Talking about Lava Z90, it made up of a very high-quality metallic body, looks stunning in hands. Lava Z90 not like a budget smartphone; it seems a premium device. The back of the smartphone is made up of metal with two lines at top or bottom for design. A camera is placed at the top left corner of the back, and the fingerprint scanner is set in the middle.

The box of the smartphone looks pretty nice from the outside. Talking about the inside contents of the box. These days, we see that no company gives earphones, case, or some more materials but here Lava gives earphones, back case, and screen guard free of cost.

Display:

Lava Z90 features a 5.0-inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen with 2.5D curved glass with 282 PPI. The quality of the display is decent, not bad you can easily adjust to it but the 2.5D curved edges look fantastic with the shape and size of the Lava Z90. According to me, The quality of the display is low in this price segment, but the overall experience of the display is excellent.

Performance:

Lava Z90 Review – It packs with 1.3Ghz Quad-Core MTK-6737 processor which is running smoothly on this device. On the other hand, it comes 3GB of RAM with 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. You can also play massive games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5, and more on this phone. The games run smoothly on it without any hanging, lagging, or heating issue.

User Interface:

Talking about the user interface of Lava Z90. Most of the smartphones launched by Lava is based on Stock Android UI whereas Lava Z90 runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat with Star OS 4.1. As it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, it has split screen feature which is a useful feature. The phone runs smoother also it has some pre-installed bloatware in it like – Gaana app, Hike Messenger, Amazon, Google Duo, SonyLIV. You can uninstall the apps if you want. The overall performance of the UI is Good.

Camera:

Lava Z-series is known for the best camera in the Lava phones. Lava Z60, Z80, Z90 has a bokeh effect, which is similar to portrait mode. You can use bokeh effect to blur the backgrounds of your surroundings. Lava Z90 comes with the 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera on its back with LED Flash, 1080p FHD recording, f/2.0 aperture, 720p Video Recording at 30FPS and Geo-Tapping. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0, 1.4 µm pixel size, and LED flash.

Talking about the Camera, I impressed with the results of an 8-megapixel front camera which captures some good photos in daylight. Also, it has a beauty mode option by which the camera can automatically capture your picture clearly, which cleans all the spots or pimples on your face if you have. The back camera is working fine in daylight, but in low light the performance of the camera is decent.

Battery Life:

Lava Z90 has 2,750mAh of the battery which works along a day with a full charge. It could take 1 hour and 30 minutes to charge the phone total, comes with 3A of charger which is faster for the MTK6737 processor. The battery performance is decent for the budget price segment. It can easily run a full day without playing heavy games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5 – Lava Z90 Review.
