A few days ago, Lava has quietly launched the Lava Z51, a new budget smartphone in India. As per our sources, Now the company is ready to launch the next smartphone. Lava is all set to launch Lava Z62 in India at the end of June. The new Lava Z62 boasts a dedicated Google Assistant Key, 18:9 aspect display, and a slighter bigger battery than predecessor Z61. Lava Z62 is yet another budget smartphone, that will be priced around Rs. 5,500 to Rs. 6,000. There are some other great smartphones available at the same price point, like Redmi 6a, Nokia 2.1, Mobistar C2, and more. The new Z62 features with a 2GB RAM, gorgeous gradient back, which helps Lava Z62 to stand in the market. The Lava Z62 dons a 6-inch 18:9 aspect ratio IPS LCD display, with the 2.5D curved edges. The bezels on both top and bottom are minimal compared to the other phones comes in the same price bracket. And according to our sources, the company will provide a one-time free screen replacement offer with this smartphone.

Talking about the camera, then the phone comes with a single rear camera which is an 8-megapixel lens, which has an f/2.0 aperture, HDR, AF, and more. The phone comes with a new feature called, 6 Level AI Photo Studio, which basically allows you to capture portraits in 6 different filters. While the front camera is of 5-megapixel, which has an f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash.

Lava Z62 Memory & Storage

Not many smartphones at this price bracket come with 2GB RAM. While Lava Z62 boasts a 2GB (LPDDR3) RAM, which will enhance the overall performance of your smartphone. The smartphone comes with a 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be expandable up to 256GB storage via microSD card.

The new Lava Z62 is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) chipset which is a 2.4GHz Quad-Core processor. On the other hand, Lava Z62 is the company’s first phone to run on the Star OS 5.1 based Android Pie 9.0.

Lava Z62 bears a 3,380mAh battery with adaptive battery feature. Other than that, it sports the Face Unlock which can unlock the phone in 0.3s.
