Lava Z60 Review:

Build Quality & Design:

We tested all the Z-series smartphones personally and we really like the build quality of all the four smartphones. Talking about Lava Z60, it made up of a very high-quality metallic/plastic body, looks stunning in hands. Lava Z60 looks good and feels good on holding it. The back of the smartphone is made up of plastic with 2 metal lines at top or bottom for design. A camera is placed at the top Left corner at the back. It does not have fingerprint sensor.

Inside Box:

  • Handset
  • Charger
  • Warranty Card
  • USB Cable

Display:

The Lava Z60 has a 5.0-inch FWVGA display with the pixel density of 196 pixels per inch. The display is covered with a 2.5D curved glass. The quality of the display is decent, not bad you can easily adjust to it. I would say the display is average in this price bracket.

Performance:

Lava Z60 Review – It is powered by a 1.1Ghz Quad-Core MT6737 processor which helps to run the Device smooth. On the other hand, it comes 1GB of RAM for great multitasking performance. In Storage, it has 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. You can also play heavy games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5, and more on this phone with minor lags on the frame.

User Interface:

Talking about the user interface of Lava Z60. Most of the smartphones launched by Lava is based on Stock Android UI whereas Lava Z60 runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat with Star OS 4.1. As it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, it has split screen feature which is a good feature. The phone runs smoother also it has some pre-installed bloatware in it like – Gaana app, Hike Messenger, Amazon, Google Duo, SonyLIV. You can uninstall the apps if you want. The overall performance of the UI is Good.

Camera:

The Lava Z60 offers a 5MP primary camera at the rear with f2.0 aperture featuring autofocus, LED flash, Bokeh mode, Digital Zoom for decent photography. It also has a 5MP front snapper along with LED flash for clicking selfies and video calling.

Bokeh mode helps to take photos like in portrait mode where you can blur the background. The back camera is average and can take decent shots.

In Lava Z60 the front camera is able to capture good photos in daylight. Also, it has a beauty mode option by which the camera can automatically capture your picture clearly, which cleans all the spots or pimples on your face if you have. The back camera is working fine in daylight, but in low light the performance of the camera is decent.

Battery Life:

Lava Z60 is fuelled with 2,500mAh Li-Polymer battery which works along a day with a full charge. It could take 1 hour and 30 minutes to charge the phone full. The battery performance is decent for the budget price segment. It can easily run a full day without playing heavy games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5 – Lava Z60 Review.
