Following the release of the iOS 17 Release Candidate last week, Apple officially releases the iOS 17 to the public. iOS 17 is a significant upgrade, and there are several compelling reasons to install it on the first day of its official release. If you want to know about all the features of iOS 17 then we have already listed them.

Apple typically releases its major iOS upgrades in the window between the new iPhone launch and their availability in the market. The same applies to iOS 17, as the iPhone 15 is set to become available within a few days from today.

It’s been a while since iPhone users had the chance to try something new. I’m referring to users who are currently on iOS 16, as beta users have already had the opportunity to experience the new features of iOS 17.

There is also support for interactive widgets meaning you can directly take supported actions from Widgets. Other features that are part of iOS 17 are Personalized Contact Posters, Live Voicemail, use Stickers anywhere, offline maps, create multiple profiles in Safari, new wallpapers, and many more. You can check out the iOS 17 Release Notes for full list of changes.

iOS 17 is available to everyone with compatible devices. If you have an eligible iPhone, you can easily install iOS 17 from the Software Update page. To update go to Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install. However, if you installed the iOS 17 release candidate build last week, you won’t receive the update, and there is no need to update to iOS 17 since it’s the same as the release candidate build. If you want to switch to the official update, you can turn off Beta in the software update page.
