With this release to the public anyone with supported iPhone or iPad can experience the second beta of iOS 14.2 or iPadOS 14.2. And you don’t need a developer Apple ID for trying the latest beta. There are two reasons to upgrade to the second beta. First is the collection of new Emojis and the second reason is the modem update. It will fix the connectivity issues.

It is easy to get iOS 14.2 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.2 Beta 2 updates on respective Apple devices. You can either use IPSW files to install the update through iTunes or Finder. Or you can install beta profile to get all the beta updates on your phone.

  1. Go to the Apple Beta Software program site.
  2. Then scroll down a bit and click on Sign in if you have Apple ID (developer account).
  3. On the next page, select the correct OS for your devices like iOS 14 or iPadOS 14.

  5. Now you need to install a profile from the next Page. For this, click on the Download Profile.
  6. After installing the Profile, reboot your device. And you are ready to install iOS 14.2 on your iPhone.

After installing the beta profile, you can go to Settings > Software Update to install the latest update on your iPhone or iPad.
