iOS 14.2 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.2 Beta 2 are now available for Public Beta users

Apple is a brand that knows the importance of Software Updates. And you must be aware of its update policy. They roll out updates almost every week either as beta updates or public stable updates. And yesterday Apple released the iOS 14.2 Beta 2 for developers only and it was expected that they will release the second beta soon. And today it is available for public beta users. Here you will know how to download and install iOS 14.2 Beta 2 for public beta users.

As usual, the public beta is similar to the developer beta without any difference in features. The only difference is that we don’t have to use the developer profile to experience the second beta of iOS 14.2. Apple released the first beta of iOS 14.2 two weeks ago with a lot of changes in UI. But the second beta is a minor update with only a few changes.

The second beta rolled out with some new features and bug fixes that we will talk about in the next week. But let’s first check about the iOS 14.2 Beta 2 update details. The latest iOS 14.2 Beta 2 update comes with build number 18B5061e which means Apple will release more beta updates in upcoming updates. Below you will found more information about the iOS 14.2 beta 2.

iOS 14.2 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.2 Beta 2

The main change in the second beta is that it comes with a lot of new emojis. These emojis were announced by Apple back in June and finally, they are now available in the iOS update.

There are more than 15 new emojis making its way to iPhones and iPads. The new set of emoji includes Ninja, insects, cat, and many other interesting Emojis. There are many more Emojis that are expected to release with different updates in batches.

There are no other new features added in the iOS 14.2 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.2 Beta 2. And as usual, the update is released to fix bugs and improve the stability and performance of the iOS and iPadOS.

As we have mentioned earlier the iOS 14.2 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.2 Beta 2 is available for developers so you need to wait a little longer for the public beta testing. Below you will find how you can update your device.

Download and Install iOS 14.2 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.2 Beta 2

With this release to the public anyone with supported iPhone or iPad can experience the second beta of iOS 14.2 or iPadOS 14.2. And you don’t need a developer Apple ID for trying the latest beta. There are two reasons to upgrade to the second beta. First is the collection of new Emojis and the second reason is the modem update. It will fix the connectivity issues.

It is easy to get iOS 14.2 Beta 2 and iPadOS 14.2 Beta 2 updates on respective Apple devices. You can either use IPSW files to install the update through iTunes or Finder. Or you can install beta profile to get all the beta updates on your phone.
