Into the pit was first revealed during this year’s Gamescom event that took place between the 24th and 27th of August 2021. A reveal trailer was showcased during the event. The game is slated to be released on the 19th of October 2021.

The game is being developed by Nullpointer Games and is being published by Humble Games. Yes, the same storefront that sells a ton of PC games, CD keys, and various game bundles. This also means the game will be available on the Humble Bundle store with some price difference from Steam’s listing.

So let’s talk about the trailer for the game. It begins with a castle or a palace in a dark world with several crows screaming. Next, it takes us to the interiors where we see various parts of the castle and then begins the battles. ye s the battles take place in an underground-like environment where you will be using your palms as a gun and be shooting out the enemies that you see.
It sounds more like a gun but with magic powers being shot out of the palm. All of this is accompanied by metal music blaring throughout the battle scenes of the trailer. The music brings you this aggressive vibe that will make you want to kill out all your enemies.
Into The Pit Gameplay
So what is the game all about? Well for starters, it takes place in a crazy cursed village filled with various demonic activities. The game has this old-school retro fast-paced shooter that should surely bring back some memories from the original classic FPS games. So, what is your goal? Well, you will have to rescue this cursed village from the crazy curses, rescue people, and strengthen yourself.
The game lets you run around through various kinds of dungeons in the game. You will meet most of your enemies here. There are various kinds of magic spells that will help you in becoming the most powerful creature in the village as well as complete various kinds of challenges. You can play around with various keys that will help in combining various kinds of eventful encounters throughout the game.
The developers are yet to show off some more gameplay footage as the reveal trailer is the only video available that showcases a few elements of the game. Elements such as character customization, character choices, and other things that be a part of the FPS game are yet to be revealed. Into The Pit Platform Availability
Well, the game will be available on the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X|S. PC gamers will also get to enjoy the game thanks to its availability on the Humble Bundle store as well as Steam. This is an Xbox exclusive game, so it won’t be showing up for PlayStation users. The game will also be available on the monthly subscription service i.e. Xbox Game Pass. We could also expect the game to be launched on the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform as well.
Into The Pit System Requirements
At least on the newer Xbox consoles, you will be able to play at a higher resolution as well as get a higher FPS in-game. With regards to PC, since this is a single-player game, we can expect the game to run on any decent processor released between 2018 and 2019 paired with 4 GB of GPU and maybe between 6 to 8 GB of RAM. The official system requirements for the games are yet to be announced.
