HyperOS 3.0 Release Date, Supported Devices, Expected Features, and More

Summarize This Article:

Xiaomi is one of the first Android OEMs to release the Android 16 operating system following Google’s release for Pixel devices. However, the update for Xiaomi phones is still based on the company’s current HyperOS 2.0 skin. This raises the big question – when is HyperOS 3.0 coming out, and what new features will it bring?

In this article, we’ll talk about the HyperOS 3.0 release date, expected features, supported devices, and other details.

HyperOS 3.0 Release Date

HyperOS 3.0 beta testing is set to begin by this month or early next month. The update is expected to be initially available for select devices. Once the company gathers feedback from testers and if everything goes live, it will expand the rollout to the public.

Initially, the update will be available to the premium line of phones, later expanded to mid-tier models, followed by entry-level phones. If you own a Xiaomi number series or Note series smartphone, you will be among the first to receive the new software upgrade ahead of many other users.

The internal testing of HyperOS 3.0 is already underway in mainland China. We’ve already seen HyperOS 3.0 in action in many leaked screenshots. Before moving to the list of features, let’s take a look at the phones that are eligible for the upcoming skin.
