It runs on Android 9 Pie OS with EMUI 9.1.1 custom UI out of the box.

The flexible Mate X is powered with Kirin 980 Chipset which is integrated with Mali-G76 GPU. Balong 5000 is also used with Kirin 980 chipset which is especially for 5G support. The phone is coupled with 8GB RAM and 512GB Internal storage.
Camera and Battery:
Talking about the camera, it has a camera placed at a unique place which fits perfectly with the flexible design. There are three cameras that are used as a back camera as well as a front camera. Camera setup includes a 40-megapixel sensor for Wide Angle Lens, a 16-megapixel sensor for Ultra Wide Angle Lens and 8-megapixel sensor for Telephoto lens. Battery included in the Mate X is of power 4500mAh and comes with world’s fastest 55W Huawei supercharge which can charge the phone about 85% in just 30min.
